Terms of Service

CVory is an online resume builder that lets you create, edit, score, and export resumes and cover letters, with optional AI assistance and an application tracker. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use CVory.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate anyone.

The core builder — including the ATS-friendly templates, the real-time ATS score, keyword-gap analysis against a job posting, and unwatermarked PDF & PNG downloads — is free, and with a free account so is the job application tracker. Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks the AI features (AI resume generation, bullet rewrites, tailoring, the AI chat editor, resume translation, and cover letters) and the designer template.

AI features are subject to fair-use limits to keep the service sustainable — currently up to 120 AI actions a day per account, plus a short per-minute limit. Pro does not include unlimited AI use.

• Pro costs $9.99 per month, charged through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise these recurring charges.
• You manage your subscription yourself in Account → Plan & billing, where you can update your payment method, cancel, or resume a cancelled subscription before it ends. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, then return to the free plan.
• Prices may change; we will give notice of any change before it applies to you.

Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

AI-generated content is provided to assist you and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or generic. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying everything before you use it, and for ensuring your resume is truthful. CVory does not guarantee any particular outcome, including getting an interview or a job.

You own the content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you (including sending the relevant text to our AI provider when you use an AI feature). You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Scrape, resell, or abuse the service or its AI features.

The CVory software, brand, templates, and content (excluding your own resume content) belong to Cvory and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.

You may stop using CVory and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the service or other users.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cvory is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

We may update these terms. We’ll update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use CVory means you accept the updated terms.
