There is no paywall at the download step and no trial that turns into a subscription. A free account adds saved resumes, share links, reusable profiles and the job application tracker. Pro, at $9.99/mo, adds every AI feature — generating a resume from a plain-language description, bullet rewrites, tailoring to a job description, the AI chat editor, one-click translation and the cover-letter generator — plus the two-column designer template. Pro is capped at 120 AI actions a day and 20 a minute, and you cancel it yourself from the account page.

Yes. Building a resume, the real-time ATS score, keyword match against a job posting, and downloading an unwatermarked A4 PDF or PNG are free forever — no credit card, no trial that auto-bills, no paywall at the download. A free account adds saving resumes and the job tracker. Pro is optional and adds the AI tools and the designer template.
What's the catch — why is the download free?
There isn't one. Many resume builders let you build for free and then charge to download; CVory doesn't. The free tier is funded by the optional $9.99/mo Pro plan for people who want AI help: generating a resume from a description, rewriting and tailoring bullets, the AI chat editor, translation, and cover letters.
How much AI does Pro include?
Up to 120 AI actions a day. Each AI request counts as one — generating a resume, a set of bullet rewrites, a tailoring pass, a chat message, a translation, or a cover letter — and the count resets every 24 hours. There is also a burst limit of 20 requests a minute. It is not unlimited, and we would rather tell you that here than after you subscribe.
Are the job tracker and keyword match free?
Yes. The keyword match — in the editor and in the standalone ATS checker — compares your resume with a pasted job posting, lists the keywords you're missing, and needs no account at all. The job application tracker costs nothing either; it just needs a free account, because it saves your applications.
Can I cancel Pro any time?
Yes. Cancel yourself in Account → Plan & billing — no retention maze, no email to send. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop back to the free tier with all your resumes intact. The same screen lets you resume before that date or update your payment method.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. You can run the free ATS checker, build a resume, match it against a job posting's keywords, and download the PDF without an account at all. A free account is only needed to save a resume, share it by link, reuse a profile, or track applications — and there's never a paywall at the download step.
Is my data private?
Your resume content is yours. We don't sell it to third parties, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
