What does this guide library cover?
Every guide here answers one question a job seeker actually types, and each is written to be useful without a CVory account — the advice works in Word or Google Docs as well as it does in our builder. The library splits three ways. The ATS and keyword guides explain how applicant tracking systems turn your file into text, which terms they match against a posting, and how to tailor one resume to one job without rewriting it from scratch. The resume-writing guides cover the parts people get stuck on: the summary, the verbs that open a bullet, and how long the document should be. The cover-letter guides cover structure, format and worked examples. Where a guide talks about applicant tracking systems, it names the ones you will actually meet on large-employer job boards — Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo and iCIMS. Each guide carries a date below, and that date moves only when the text itself changes.
