Which resume templates are ATS-safe?
7 of the 8 are, and those 7 are the free ones. They are single-column with real selectable text, so a parser reads them top to bottom instead of interleaving two columns. The one designer template is two-column, part of Pro, and deliberately fail the layout check so the trade-off shows up in your score rather than being hidden. How does the ATS score work?
It is the share of the nine checks your resume passes — passed divided by run, times 100 — recalculated on every keystroke, so each check you fix is worth about 11 points and nothing is weighted behind your back. Can I build and download a resume with no sign-up?
Yes. The editor, the real-time ATS score, the keyword match against a job posting and the A4 PDF and PNG download all work with no account at all. A free account is only needed to save a resume so you can come back to it, share it by link, or track applications — and there is no paywall at the download step either way.
Is there a watermark on the download?
No. The exported PDF and PNG carry no watermark, no branding and no trial stamp, on the free tier and on Pro alike. The download is the finished document, not a preview of one you have to pay to unlock.
What file formats can I download?
An A4 PDF and a PNG. The default PDF is rendered by a real browser engine, so it is selectable vector text rather than an image — which is what lets an applicant tracking system parse it, and what makes non-Latin scripts such as Arabic and Chinese come out correctly. There is also a simplified plain-text PDF for maximum parseability, and a JSON export of the underlying data.
Will you email me?
There is nothing to email you with unless you choose to create an account — building and downloading never asks for an address. We do not sell your data to third parties, and an account can be deleted, with its data, from the account page.
Is my resume data safe without an account?
Without an account your draft is kept in your own browser's local storage on this device, not in an account on our servers, so closing the tab keeps it and clearing your browser data removes it. That also means it is not backed up anywhere — if you want it to survive a cleared browser or reach another device, create a free account and save it.
